Maximo Health should have ability to URL link to Industry Solution (Health) versions of Locations and Assets applications

Job Statement

As a reliability engineer, when I'm investigating the most critical assets or locations from within our outside of MAS, I need to be able to get quickly to Health Asset or Locations Page, so that I can assess whether those assets require attention or work done.

User Need/Problem

I am unable to quickly navigate to a Health Asset or Location Page from other MAS Applications like Manage Asset Details Page or Manage Locations Page. Or share links to the Health Details Page or Locations Page to apps and users outside MAS

Business Need/Problem

Users need access to the Asset Location information from inside and outside MAS to make better business investment decisions.

As Is

Users cannot navigate directly to Health Asset Location Page. They can however carete a URL to the Asset Details pages.

To get or create the URL fo an Asset Details Page they must do the following steps to navigate to Asset details page using a unique URL asset’s details page

• Allows a users to bookmark the URL to a specific asset details Page so they can get to the information they need faster without multiple clicks

Create a unique URL for an asset details page and navigation to that page or share itwith others

• Set the `assetnum` and ``siteid

• # symbol is required

• Page name is `assetDetail`

Example: `assetnum=1001&siteid=BEDFORD#/asset Detail

Possible solutions to my problem would be to allow:

Bookmarking of Health Asset Details Page or Location Page so that I can share it with others so that they can navigate back to the page

Add navigation from Manage Asset/Location to Health Asset Details Page or Location Page

Original Requirement

When you have an Industry Solution or the HSE Add-on, you want to be able to choose which Locations and Assets application you wish to navigate to from Health. This would also apply if you had clones of the Locations or Assets application. Currently it only seems possible to launch the native Locations and Assets application as if the application names are being hard-coded.

It should be possible at least to direct to the correct application. But it should also be possible for this to be achieved depending on the user access rights, and it should also be possible for a user to choose, if they had access to multiple location or asset applications, rather than just one.
