Ability to have push notifications

For example, when a ticket is assigned to a team, its logged-in users shall be notified via a push notification that a new ticket has been assigned to their queue (similar to you receiving a new email notification in the outlook for example). All users, in all of our projects, are asking for this feature (especially because it is available in other competitor applications). In complex environments, it's very hard to notice new assignments (or updated ones) when you have 100s of assignments).

    Hello Omar

    In doing some research and digging of this push notification I have some good news.

    Push Notification is a common feature available in MAS Core, with a stand-alone Push Notification service hosted on IBM Cloud serving all MAS (on-prem and SaaS) users. Since MAS 8.7, other mobile apps (like Technician) also started to use Push Notification for some functions.

    all applications based on MAS (using MAS authentication) can use this push notification functions.


    Thus with Control Desk moving into the Suite, I will work with Development to see how we can consume this new added feature.
