Ability to trigger custom code when automation scripts are saved / compiled

Maximo currently doesn’t make it easy for administrators to detect changes to automation scripts.

Some customers/BPs want to trigger custom code when an automation script is saved. They will use these triggers to perform actions such as:

  • Pass details of changes to 3rd party revision control tool

  • Trigger additional code checks e.g. Vetasi's custom code checks to look for bad code such as memory leaks

    If you create a script with name AUTOSCRIPT.SAVE, it will get triggered during save of an auto script. Similarly you can also use AUTOSCRIPT.NEW when a new script is added.

    Interesting approach - So, I'm happy to vote for it.

    However, if there is an integration with e.g. GiT available it would be sufficient as well.
