Technote needed: Committing transactions to continuous vs. sequential queues

A blurb from an email from IBM:

Continuous queues use MDBs which use container transactions. So when the transaction completes it is automatically committed.

Sequential queues, on the other hand, have a cron task which delivers messages to Maximo and is not transacted. The mechanism (autoscript, etc.) needs to commit the transaction explicitly.

issueItem.getThisMboSet().save()

invMbo.getThisMboSet().save()

We need to thoroughly understand the difference between committing transactions to continuous vs. sequential queues. A Technote is needed.

    Could IBM please move this idea to a different category: "IBM MAS - Manage (Base) / System Admin Config/Security"?

    It was entered in "IBM MAS - Manage (Configuration)" by mistake.

    Thanks.
