Use Case:

We have classifications that were used in WOs that are now closed. Going forward, we want to prevent users from using those classifications in new/open WOs.

We want to deactivate classifications (without deleting them) so that they're not available to users who are creating/editing open WOs, but the classification information (i.e. hierarchy path) would still exist & be visible in the closed WOs.

    Could IBM please move this idea to a different category: "IBM MAS - Manage (Base) / System Admin Config/Security"?

    It would be nice to have something like an effective end date. If it is just a flag, at least allow it to be used on existing ACTIVE assets and not on pending/new assets or Locations
