Make personal dashboard accessible via home button again

In v. 6.0.6.1 personal dashboards were accessible via a single click on the home button, which is no longer present in v. 7.0.2. Many users miss this old feature and would like to have it back as a usability improvement for the new UI. Currently, the new black navigation bar at the top takes a lot of space without providing much functionality, so there would be enough space to re-integrate such home button.

Thank you for your suggestion to return the personal dashboard link to the home button. Some of the reasons why the personal dashboard link was moved into the menu was because of the collapsing banner action, the addition of Global Configuration information to the banner, and the ability to add dashboard links to a browser so they’re available with a single click.

We re-examine our layouts and controls when we go through our UX modernization efforts. Re-positioning commonly used buttons and links will also be re-considered at that time.
