Replace in GC does not work for SCM and RMM

Replace in GC does not work for SCM and RMM: In GC there is a replace function that is supposed to replace a configuration with a related configuration. This function allows to replace a configuration with any configuration in the same component. In SCM and RMM, there are no components that include streams, so for RMM and SCM, the replace functionality does not work to replace a stream with a different stream (even though the streams are related via Flow Targets, which has the same semantics as creating a substream in DNG or ETM). In effect this means that we cannot use the replace function for SCM and RMM streams (e.g. exchange a Generic stream with a project stream). Request: Allow replacing of a SCM or RMM stream in GC if the stream is connected via FlowTarget.

    The EWM RFE Review board looked at this and decided to keep it on the Backlog as an uncommitted candidate for a future release.
