Implement Compaction/reindex for JTS Index

We just recognized our JTS Index has grown to > 500 GB which caused performance issues when executing Backup of Indices.
After executing reindex the size was just 2.5 GB.

    Just to verify, you think that its fine that your app is wasting 520 GB (99.5 Percent) without notifying or trying to lower the amount of data ?

The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea, and based on our understanding, it does not fit our near-term plans.
