The ELM uses "." in their headers which most modern reverse proxies drop by default.

For example, the Cloudflare proxy may remove HTTP request headers with names considered invalid according to NGINX, such as header names containing a . (dot) character as the ELM uses.
And the new proxy doesn't allow setting the flag ignore_invalid_headers to off.

    We have the same issue with Azure Application Gateway. As a result we are forced to use either AVI or NSX F5 Load-Balancer where there is possibility to alow such header names with a .(dot) character.
