RELATED IDEAS

Add logging entries

For enhancing monitoring of the ELM application, a log entry for starting and stopping  a servicet would be helpful.
Also the LQE Queries should log one entry when starting and finishing a query.

With log4j2.xml and setting those to trace and a special file it would be easy to enhance the monitoring of alm and increase stability

And it should be pretty easy to implement it

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea and requested additional information. To date, no additional information has been received and based on our understanding, the idea does not fit our plans, or in the case of the LQE query, information is already provided as part of the RB Query Monitoring. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository.  We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.

    Thank you for submitting idea. IBM Engineering team review board evaluated this request and determined it will need additional information to evaluate this request.

    There are over 800 ELM services and adding each one of them to the log is significant overhead/performance impact. Similar would be for each LQE query but for this RB already provides Query Monitoring. Could you provide us with the use case that you are trying to achieve with this idea request?
