Global Configuration application: User Interface consistency with other ELM application

Context: ELM users often have to switch from one ELM application to another. It is even more significant for administrators. Users usually expects to have a similar user experience regardless of the application they are in.

Problem: GC user interface is not aligned with other ELM application .

Impact: Navigation becomes inefficient, user adoption is reduced, and engineers spend additional time locating the features and data. As a result, users may end up having unsatisfactory experienced.

Goal of the Idea: Align the Global Configuration application to the other ones.

Why is it Useful?:

  • Provides a consistent Jazz-based interface.
  • Improves user experience and productivity.

How Should it Work?:

  • Add a GC Dashboard
  • For every possible list or tree view propose filtering, view features along with the use of queries
