Enable Release Availability/Synchronize in Personal Streams for GCM-Linked Configurations

From a user perspective, we have a concern with the current behavior. Since modifications are possible only while working with personal streams, how will users know when a new release has been added, or the release links have been updated in the corresponding global stream? Users may continue working in their personal streams without being aware that the release-link mapping has changed at the global-stream level.

It would therefore be helpful if release-link mappings configured at the global-stream level could also be propagated to the associated personal streams. Alternatively, a notification or warning could inform personal-stream users whenever release links are added or updated in the corresponding global stream.

Could you please check whether there is any possibility of considering this enhancement in an upcoming ELM/GCM release? In particular, it would be useful to consider either:

  • Automatic synchronization of release links from the global stream to the associated personal streams, or
  • A notification mechanism to alert personal-stream users when release links are added or updated in the global stream.

This would improve usability and help avoid inconsistencies between global and personal streams.
