Merge the changes from one stream to other automatically even if the file location is changed

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

1) Create Stream A with 2 components, comp1 and comp2.
2) Create Stream A workspace and share projects to both the components.
3) Create Stream B by duplicating Stream A
4) In Stream A workpace move file 1 from comp1 to comp2 using 'Move in Repository workspace' option.
5) Make some changes to file 1 in Stream B and complete the changeset.

6) Now load Stream A workspace
7) Add Stream B workspace as the flow target
8) Accept incoming changes

After accepting the incoming change, we are facing a conflict that is not auto resolved. Things seem to work within the components but not across components, is it because RCT does not maintain folder history.
Is this supported?
Is there any way to get this working across components?
Please verify the above steps and let us know to overcome the issue.
