Create a expand keyword to control the versionId of additional document formats such as Word files

We know that there are expand keywords that can be used with the scm load command in order to print in the file the version provided by the source control tool when it is downloaded. However, the specific expand keyword $VersionId$ only works for files without special format (*.txt, *.csv, etc.)

We would like to propose to enable this functionality for more type of files such as Word file. When this kind of documents are controlled in EWM and then they are downloaded, the version of the file is lost if the expand keyword cannot be used.

    There are libraries that can access fields inside a Word document and extract the information e.g. the document properties.
    It would require some additional coding/libraries but I my experience in this area is that these libraries typically provide libraries

    Sorry the following message should have been posted when the state was updated:
    'The EWM RFE review board has evaluated this request. This request is being rejected because keywords do not apply to word files because they are binary files.'
