Recommendation on MAXMMAPAREA and MAXSHAREPAGES and usage of _MAP_MEGA

The documentation at https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/elm/7.0.3?topic=systems-configuring-your-installation-zos recommends to set MAXMMAPAREA and MAXSHAREPAGES to 250 000 or more.


The recommendation is unchanged since the previous version while usage of MMAP changed in Lucene version shipped with v7.0.1.


Are there more details on how to size MAXMMAPAREA and MAXSHAREPAGES?

Does it depend on the data stored in workitems (attachment, description,...) and the size of the generated index for it?

Can the usage of MMAP be disabled in the newer version of EWM?

Are there any other settings that can help reduce usage of MMAP?
