Unable to sequence the work items status columns in a KANBAN view

When we create a Kanban view, i am not able to change the sequence of the columns (plotted as per the status) plotted as per the work item status
Idea priority Urgent
Needed By Yesterday (Let's go already!)

    Lets say your work item status looks like,

    State A-> State C-> State B->State N -> State M

    when you configure the Kanban view these status will appear predetermined and you will not be able to adjust their sequence as per the business need or required state work flow.

    It gets more tricky when you have different states within the same state work group.
