To be able to control write access for components in EWM via an access group perspective

Currently you can control the read access for components in EWM with access groups. It would be useful to also be able to control write access similar to the way read access is being controlled for components to address complex user access control requirements in projects. This will allow for more cross collaboration and not leak sensitive data to the wrong team members. Currently there is a way to control write access for components via preconditions for users based on their roles, but the problem is this can take significant overhead to set up.

    EWM RFE review board has evaluated this request. This request, while valid, is unlikely to be addressed in the next 18-24 months due to other higher priority items on the Backlog. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may be reassessed or reopened for additional discussion in the future.
