Harmonize Using wildcards in filter fields

In a Workflow Item --> Picklist "Planned For" --> sub menu with "3 blue dots" it is possible to combine wildcard filters like "*SP*20". This Filter provides all Iterations which have "....SP....20..." somewhere in the name. --> see attached WildcardFilter.jpg. Using the same filter criteria direct in the Planned For pick-list-filter or in the Filed Against picklist filter brings a different result. --> see WildcardFilterNok.jpg In an EWM-Plan the behavior is also different. However, the filter options must be very power and harmonized across all menus where filtering is possible. Because in VED we expect >1000 categories and iterations per PA, the issue becomes a blocker from app. July 2022 on.

    EWM RFE review board has evaluated this request and decided to keep it on the Backlog as an uncommitted candidate for a future release. This request aligns with our modernization plans but is unlikely to be addressed in the next 12-18 months due to other higher priority items on the Backlog.
