Be able to work on different versions of a stream without redoing a load

We need an improvement on EWM 6.0.6 for Eclipse. We have components in different version of a stream (see image Capture1.jpg). Sometimes we need to work on 2 versions at the same time (ex TSBD_6.0 and TSBD_DEV). We create 2 repository workspace. We load the first in a subfolder (cf https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/6.0.2?p=newsDetails#load-into-sub-folders) . When we try to load the second in another subfolder we have the attached error message Capture2.jpg. Indeed we work with eclipse projects. We need a way to be able to choose which one to work on (either project TSBD_ZCOMPONENT3 in stream TSBD_6.0 or project TSBD_ZCOMPONENT3 in stream TSBD_DEV) without having to redo a load.

    Hello, Thanks for the advice. I think that often we use Eclipse project.

    So what can the new “Load workspace into sandbox subfolders” function do ?

    When we try to use it we get the error message “Unable to open project … already exists".

    Sharing recommendation from the EWM dev team for your consideration- The way work around this limitation of Eclipse is to load the two different versions on two different Eclipse workspaces.

    EWM RFE review board has evaluated this request. This request is being rejected because the error you are seeing is a limitation of Eclipse. There isn't anything EWM can do to fix it. The only option you have would be to load the content without creating Eclipse projects.
