About the documentation on self-signed certificates.

+ Background info
The customer set the self-signed certificates. However, when they using the Edge browser, a certificate error happened and
can solved with IBM technotes.

+ Suggestion
As you see, the following KC document has not mentioned possible errors in browser.

Document link :
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/elm/7.0.2?topic=management-configuring-security-certificates

I suggest it would be good to add it to the KC for issues customer may meet with browser using with self-signed certificates .

Would you mind, please review the suggestion for KC.
Thank you in advance.

The EWM RFE Review board looked at this and considers this to be a gap in the documentation that can be treated as a defect. The defect has been opened and can be tracked as 557242: [UA] Missing documentation regarding self-signed certificates

    Yes,Please!

Our clients met this issue, after upgraded to ELM v7.0.2.

As you konw,IE is sunset,so we must use Edge browser.

    Then a certificate error happened.

I tried to reuse the old or rebuilt a new certificate, but not work.

I opened a case ,got the technote from the case, this is very different from IE.

This step is very important,we missed this "DNS Name" as it worked with IE.

Subject Alternative Names: Specify the domain name of your public URI under "DNS Name". [Important]

Please add the technote to the KC,thanks.
