Better suggestions in Changesets Work Items' association

In the Work Item association step, the suggested list needs to be improved. Normally, if developer recently works on certain Work Items, they will be suggested by default in a list. However, in daily works, by switching between Repository Workspaces or workspaces, most of the time, the Work Items suggested list is empty.

In order to avoid this empty list, we propose that IBM integrates pre-defined Work Item lists by default such as:

  • Recently created: Created in the last 12 hours

  • Open assigned to me: Work items I own which are open or in progress

  • Recently assigned to my Team Area

In conclusion, this improvement helps accelerating the working process of developers by reducing time of searching Work Items. In addition, it helps avoid blank empty dialog in the middle of working process.

    The EWM Ideas Review board looked at this request and decided to keep it on the Backlog as an uncommitted candidate for a future release.
