Use an editor representation that simply shows the hours or the unit which has been selected when entering the value, but no random combination of arbitrary, not well-defined units.

"Time Estimate" and "Time Spend" are represented in the work item editor in an awkward format. Even specified in hours, it's represented in "days" and "weeks" depending on the value of hours entered.  But weeks and days are no precise units and forces the user to always calculate the value back into hours.

The EWM Ideas Review board looked at this and decided to keep it on the Backlog as an uncommitted candidate for a future release.
