Provide a file chooser widget in work items to choose a file path

We often wish to record the path to a file in work items, but there is no attribute for that.

The Attachments non-attribute-based presentation actually uploads a file, but we don't want to do that -- just obtain the path.

This would be a big time saver instead of copying the path separately somehow and pasting it into a text type field.

In terms of gesture, we would like to:
(1) Click on a text field attribute.
(2) It pops up a dialog for us to navigate to and choose a file.
(3) When we select the file, the dialog closes and pastes the path into the text field.

As a configuration option, it would also be helpful to be able to select the file and just have the file name pasted to the text field, instead of the path and filename.

    The EWM Review Board requests you to share the use case that you are trying to solve to help us better understand why you would want a file path as it is unclear why you would like to store the file path to an attachment of a work item.
    Some additional questions:
    1. Do you want a special presentation that can be used for capturing path information?
    Or
    2. Do you want to be able to capture and insert a path into the description field? Similar to clicking the insert link/user/work item buttons?
