Possibility to change the Select Work Item dialog depending on the context

When adding work item links, very often the type of link is predetermined by the attribute where the item is added (e.g. a story is linked to an epic or vice versa). We would like to be able to predetermine the type of work item that can be created in the Select Work Item dialog (bottom left corner eg "create linked defect").

For the users this would be an enormous benefit because they would not have to switch the Type selection to the item they need - especially because users from our experience interpret the Type field as part of the search and not in any ways linked to the "create" link at the bottom. 

It would also greatly reduce wrongly created work items.
Work items that should not be linked (which in our case is also checked and the work item being edited cannot be saved unless the linked item types are correct) would not be as easily created either.

    EWM Ideas review board has evaluated this request This request aligns with our plans but is unlikely to be addressed in the next 10-12 months due to other higher priority items on the Backlog.
