Unable to add custom attribute in the Grouping drop down on the plan view

Steps:

Create a plan
then go to the view
Edit view
Under Options
Select the Group Drop Down
It displays out of the box options

This is where i want to add new options. The tools like JIRA supports it.

It is useful to have an useful feature which is already supported by the contemporary tools like JIRA.

It gives flexibility to the users to arrange their Kanban board as per their needs.

The EWM Ideas review board has evaluated this request. This request is being rejected as it is possible to do this by creating groupings using <groupmode> in the Process Configuration Source of a project using the Eclipse client. These can then be added as 'Groupings' to Plan View Elements to be made available as grouping options in Plans.
