Ranked List View and Ranked Flat View are inconsistent

Suggest an opt-in/opt-out for the hierarchical planning representation at plan level options or project area configuration.

    The RFE Review board looked at this and decided to leave it in the product backlog. It has been linked to a feature work item in our product backlog.

    in v6.0 we implemented in tress views "hierarchical ranking" as shown here. https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/6.0?p=news#Planning_%20hierarchical_ranking This would explain why the customer is seeing a different rank display in hierarchical views vs. flat views with ranks. Rank values are calculated values in a plan and display a rank based on the relative sequence of the item in that plan view. Tree views, display ranks differently using 1.1, 1.2 ranking of tasks assigned under a parent "story".
