Make custom text attributes modifiable in a plan view

Currently it is possible to edit some attributes directly in a plan view, e.g. enum attributes but also the summary of a work item.

Unfortunately it is not supported to edit text attributes directly in this view. Especially for attributes with small content like 1 or 2 lines of text this would help a lot in daily/weekly planning of teams.

Use case description:
One attribute indicates whether a work item has a risk to be overdue in the future or not. If there is a risk, another small string attribute contains the reason for that in 1-2 lines of text. When you look at the plan with all the work items together with the team and quickly go through one by one, it would be much more efficient and user friendly if the text/reason could be edited directly instead of

1. open the work item in another tab
2. do the change
3. close the tab

and repeat for all work items that required an update.

The EWM Ideas review board has evaluated this request. This request, while valid, is unlikely to be addressed in the next 18-24 months due to other higher-priority items on the Backlog. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may be reassessed or reopened for further discussion. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.?
A potential workaround would be to add the attribute/s to the 'Inline Work Item Editor' presentation. Then from the plan view, the user can click the pencil icon, at the end of the work item row to edit the field without opening a new tab.
