Error message handling is not user friendly

Scenario1: Linking DNG to RMM with Work item

Links between Requirements and model elements can be created from DNG or from RMM. After linking the requirement to model element it is mandatory to associate the work item before saving the RM links.


However this easily fails:

  • the link needs to be stored in SCM - which creates a change set - which needs to satisfies our precondition of comment & linked work item
    => so you have to set that properly (which is hard to miss)

  • unfortunately if you do not the error message is not properly handled!
