[ELM]: Enable by default "Format Email Messages in HTML" option

Hello, we have the following idea for ELM.

  • Context: We are implementing mail template in HTML format for EWM work item change notification. Using HTML help us to build a mail that bring all the needed information to our users regarding our human factor studies. 
  • Problem: We are asking to all our users (3000 users for EWM across 4 countries) to enable this option. Today, each user must enable the option itself and so we don't know if the option is enabled. 
  • Impact: If the user don't enable the option and want the feature, by default or by habit, it will contact our support team. This will cause an unneeded ticket action from our support team.
  • Proposed solution: Have an option to enable by default or for all users this options.
  • Benefices: Reduce of support request and fix

 

Use case: On your profile, go to mail configuration. In section format, the option Format Email Message in HTML is not set by default.
