[P1-NG] Import from csv file : we must be able to edit every type of attributes available in EWM

Context : Today, in our company, we are using csv file to bulk update or bulk create artefacts for many reason such as : Migration from other tools, Exchange of data between server or other company, Migration of data following a data model change...  In those uses cases, we edit data like an user would do but in bulk.

Problem : However, we run into an issue with some attribute types used by our data model which can't be imported by csv. For exemple, we have an attribute of type "List of elements" pointing on "Categories", during an import on this attrbiute , nothing happen, no warning, no error and attribute stay empty in EWM.

Impact : It is not possible to use "Import from csv file" at its full potential. And it's not possible fill attributes by hand, we are talking about 300 to 15k workitems. This mean some data is lost resulting in a lack of informations to analyse workitems (by users).

Goal : "Import from csv file" must be able to bulk import every types of attribute permitted in EWM.

Why is it useful : For administration, it's a must have to maintain data of projects that keeps going for years. It's also a key function to migrate data into EWM, it's the "entrance ticket" for data existing outside jazz EWM. And for users, it allows them to exchange data with another company or another EWM project, which is a need of every days.

How should it work : Like other CSV import, we put data in our CSV cells, and data is updated or created in EWM after the import

The request to provide capability to edit 'every' attribute type is open-ended and too large to consider for a single release. Therefore, we request you to share the top 3-5 attribute type or a prioritized list of attribute types that you would like to consider. Thanks

The EWM Idea Review Board has look at this request. Pl. can you add more specific details of the attribute types that are important to you for 'Import from csv'. It will easier for us to evaluate the feasibility of a shortlist. Thanks.
