Initial loading of work items in the EWM Plan View should be under 5 seconds by only partially loading the plan work items

The current loading speed of the plan view becomes increasingly slower as the number of work items within the plan increases over time.

Currently an initial loading of a plan with 1000 work items takes around 15-20 seconds. The customer plans to add more work items over time to the plan which will definitely increase this time taken.

The expectation is that the initial page should be loaded within a much smaller timeframe. This currently does not seem possible with the current design of the plan view as the EWM plan will try to load all work items before rendering the plan view page.

The customer is expecting a faster initial load of the page with additional work items loading in if the user decides to scroll down the plan page.

    Same customer has raised similar concern with the loading speed of the ETM Test Case Summary page.  Again the expectation after each refresh is 3 to 5 seconds.  The corresponding PMRs are TS020618785 (ETM) and TS019647178 (EWM) respectively.

    The EWM Ideas review board has evaluated this request. This request is being rejected because we cannot make a commitment to the response time or implementation, but are committed to improving the performance with every release.
