The "Select a Stream or Repository Workspace" dialog should have a pre-filled search text and a default result list

The "Select Stream or Repository Workspace" dialog could be improved to help accelerate developers' workflow. When changing the Flow Target or comparing Stream/Repository Workspace, it currently displays an empty text input and an empty list (if there is no previous search). Typically, these functionalities are used within the same Project Area. This step slows down the workflow and requires developers to type and search for the Stream/Repository Workspace within the Project Area.

We propose pre-filling the search text with the Project Area's name and displaying the list of the current Project Area's streams/Repository Workspaces. This will immediately show the available choices to users. This change would help reduce one step and save developers' time.

    EWM Ideas review board has evaluated this request. his request, while valid, is unlikely to be addressed in the next 18-24 months due to other higher priority items on the Backlog. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's Ideas repository and may be reassessed or reopened for additional discussion in the future.We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.
