It helps users to filter out the work items easily by selecting a tag or color which they have assigned to particular work item. It helps user for grouping items where they can assign particular tag or color to a team or person etc

    The EWM Ideas Review board looked at this request. It appears that the existing functionality works as the request for enhancement. You can use plan view filters to exclude the tags you do not want to use or use '!' in the exclude statement that you want to include. For e.g. Exclude -> expression - !Tag='FVT' will show work items that have the tag 'FVT' If you would like to share additional details like user scenarios, screenshots to provide context to the request for further evaluation. If we do not hear from you in 2 weeks, the Idea will be closed as functionality exists.
