Simplify Linking Change Sets to Work Items in the EWM VS Code Extension

Context:

Developers using the EWM extension in Visual Studio Code regularly associate change sets with work items to ensure traceability between code changes and planned work.

 

Problem:

A change set can only be linked to a work item if the user already knows the work item ID. There is no easy way to search, browse, or select work items directly from the interface.

 

Impact:

Developers waste time searching for work item IDs, and traceability is weakened because change sets may not be linked correctly or consistently.

 

Goal of the Idea:

Make it easy to associate change sets with work items without requiring users to know the work item ID in advance.
