Please investigate using less JVM heap than 10-20 times report size in future versions of Aspose API

This is useful in general, as larger reports do not suddenly fail due to requiring unexpected magnitudes of JVM heap. It would make the generation of MS Word and PDF reports much more manageable. This is especially useful for customers who have EDG installed in their server (such as DNG) where it is not possible to increase heap beyond a small threshold and where the report generation is likely to have a large impact on all other users of the server. Since Aspose is the core component of Ms Word and PDF publishing in ELM, an enhancement would benefit a very large number of customers.

    Publishing team performed additional analysis and concluded that Engineering Document Generation (EDG) component which allows publishing documents from applications like DOORS Next, does not have 8GB heap restriction. DOORS Next or any application with EDG could have larger heap which depends on the application allocated RAM and heap. As there is no plans to change underlaying architecture in the foreseeable future, this RFE is closed.
