Group By Default

When viewing assets on a large scale Document Builder deployment, there are many assets to organise. Defaulting to a flat list is not the best approach as it would require the user to know they can manually group assets using an additional UI element. It would be much preferable if the administrator could set a system "Default Group By" in the UI so that when a user sees the assets, it's automatically grouped by folder (or tag, if that's what others do).

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea, and based on our understanding, it does not fit our near-term plans and it is in contrary with other customers request to allow users to set their own 'Group by...' preference. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository.  We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.
