Use user-friendly Combobox as input for external Variables

The use of combo boxes as input for external variables would be a modern and customer-friendly variant to adjust various parameters during document generation. On the one hand, static values should be allowed there and on the other hand, dynamic values should also be allowed, which should adapt according to the user and his authorizations.

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea, and requested additional information. To date, no additional information received and based on our understanding, idea does not fit our near-term plans. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository.  We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.

    Thank you for submitting an idea. IBM Engineering team review board evaluated this request and determined it will need additional information to evaluate this request. This idea is in conflict with your another request where you asked for checkbox, see https://ibm-ai-apps.ideas.ibm.com//ideas/ENGLOP-I-37. Could you clarify difference between these requests and if one of these should be closed/resolved?
