Request to Add Styling Capability for Include File in RPE

Hi Team,


Currently, there is no option to apply styles to Include files in RPE.

We would like to have an option to apply styles to Include files.

Why because we have text formatting options provided for all other elemnts in RPE but for file type its not possible. So if all other content in one text format ex: Arial only the file content will be in default format. It will look odd from others.

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea, and based on our understanding, this functionality already exists. There are two blogs written on this topic, https://jazz.net/blog/index.php/2020/12/01/handling-rtf-code-in-ibm-engineering-lifecycle-optimization-publishing/ and https://rpeactual.wordpress.com/2013/01/18/processing-rich-text-in-rpe/. The first blog posting uses macro and it would require an MS Windows. If you are using Linux, then the second blog posting should be used where the template author selects the 'XHTML Output' option.
    Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository.  We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.

    Thank you for submitting idea. IBM Engineering team review board evaluated this request and determined it will need additional time to evaluate this request. We want to confirm that your request is to provide the same style formating like in your provided image for include path ?C:\temp\rtfTempFile.rtf? to be the same as ?Relations?.
