Export out tables views from Rhapsody in a document

Context: Today, in our company, more and more projects are using DNG and Rhapsody with traceability. As output for our customers, we need to generate documentations thanks to ELO PUB / RPE or Document Builder which will contains requirements, and architecture elements... It will help us to be compliant with standards such as ISO9001 and EN9100. For traceability, the users are using OSLC links between DNG and Rhapsody. When they are doing it on a tableview element, the document generated should have a table.

Problem: However, the table exported thanks to ELO PUB / RPE is composed of one table for each row from the tableview element, separated by a blank line (see the file Export.doc, generated by Template_TableView_RMM.dta).

Impact: We can't let users export tableviews as it is.

Goal of the idea: Propose an expected export for the tableview (see the file Expected.doc).

Why it is useful ?: Document generation with Tableview elements from a model will become possible. So users won't have to export it manually or to duplicate data.

How should it work ?: There are different possibilities :

• The text could be exported in a single table. Hyperlink should be optional.

• The data (Architecture Elements) from the tableview could be available for each row and each column of the tab (so it impacts the data source schema) to create ourselves the table we need.
