Data structure in RMM does not show same information as in Rhapsody

When using data structures within a Rhapsody SysML model which are structured according their type definition, the RMM webbrowser does not show the same information of the data element as Rhapsody does. Hence it is not possible in the RMM to follow the type definition path to access the requiremed infomation for e.g. interfaces.

The attached pictures show an example definition of our data structure based on the type definition of the next level, as well as the property information on the topmost item (ProxyPort) from perspective of Rhapsody and RMM.

The Proxyport in Rhapsody shows to be typed according a special interface block that has been assigned, whereas the RMM show only the type Proxyport for the same element in the xactly same model in EWM SCM.

A similar effect is valid for the relation between Flow Property and Value Type.

It is assumed that this effect is based on the interpretation of the model based on the selected profile, as Rhapsody uses in this case a SysML prfile, that RMM seems not be able to use as basis for the data model.

Hence it is requested that RMM can display data according the selected SysML Profile in the Rhapsody model.

Hi Suneel, we just looked at this topic today, I know it is an older one, but I can confirm your statement. In my projects the interface link is shown. Maybe the way some information is displayed is not ideal, but at least the link to the interface block is visible.

    Hi,

The main problem is that you are not able to see the "Properties" section as shown in the
    image (https://bigblue.aha.io/attachments/7221497154274676394/token/20fd67c2b28fce90cba51d43d38ca8ecf8ac5e4eae003301fe46bb77ec1dbc2d.download?size=original )
as expected for RMM 7.0.2 server.

I suggest you reach out to our support team to identify the reason for this.
I have given them a heads-up you will be raising a support ticket on this issue.

    Regards,
    Suneel...

PS: I will be closing this RFE.

    Hi,

Would help us with RMM and Rhapsody versions you are using?

In 701 we added to the web viewer the details about an element’s type, in the ‘Properties’ section, with the name: ‘Of Type’, which has a navigable link to the typing element.

    Regards,
    Suneel...
