RMM - Check if a Stream or Component name is unique

Current situation: If a new stream or component in RMM will be created RMM does not check if the same stream or component name already exists in the PA. This could lead to confusion for the RMM users.

Required situation/Proposal:  It is requested that RMM checks the name for existing stream or component names and prompts to enter a unique name (or gives at least a warning for the creator of the stream or component).

    Hi,


    Note that the naming of a Stream and Component is not controlled by RMM at all; this is pure EWM SCM functionality.
    It is indeed true that you can give a stream and component the same name.
    This 'could' be desired, as components and streams could be owned by different Team Areas or Project Areas.


    Here is the solution for unique component names:
    The default server setting for component names is to allow components with the same name.
    A JazzAdmin can change the setting in the Advanced Properties on the administration page in the web UI.
    It is called Encourage component names to be unique in the SCM section.
