Improve loading time of Remote artifacts

Current behavior

Loading artifacts in Rhapsody takes sometimes a very long time, and also no real feedback or progress bar is provided. 

In general also the RMM connection almost doubles the loading times of models on the client side, as measured in our projects.

Requested change

Remote artifacts should not take longer than 1 minute to load regardless the module size, provided good internet connection on client side.

Proper feedback about loading process should be given to the user.

Change reason

Current performance is unacceptable and leads to delays, quality problems and user frustration

Seems to be a design issue of jazz, cannot be solved with any workarounds on our side

    Hi,
    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
    In the upcoming release, we’re working to enhance remote artifact loading performance and add a progress bar for better visibility. In Rhapsody 10.0.2 iFix002, we’ve already improved on-demand loading, and I’d recommend testing your environment with this version.

    Loading large models in under a minute typically requires server-grade infrastructure, but we’ve introduced multi-threaded handling for remote artifacts, along with a dedicated loading window, to significantly improve responsiveness. You should notice a clear improvement in the next release.

    We’d really appreciate your feedback once you’ve had a chance to try it.
