Enhancement Request – Command-Line Option to Disable Post-Process Functionality in M2M Transformation

We request the implementation of a new command-line option for the M2M launcher that allows users to disable the post‑process functionality.

Expected Behavior

  • Default behavior: Post‑processing remains enabled (no changes required for existing projects).

  • New optional flag: Disables the post‑process step when explicitly provided in the command-line call.

  • Impact:

    • Allows targeted deactivation for problematic projects

    • Avoids modifying centrally managed rulesets or EWM baselines

    • Maintains the integrity of the shared project architecture

This approach was previously proposed during the discussion in IBM support case TS019603874, and IBM confirmed it is a viable enhancement—directing us to submit the request through this channel.
