There should be a visual indicator that a display option has been overridden.

When a property is set at one level in the hierarchy, but set to a different value at a lower level, there is a mechanism to determine this in the Features dialog. The property is listed in pink text and there is a filter to show locally overridden properties. When a property that defines the appearance of a graphical element is set at one level in the hierarchy, but that same appearance is set to a different value on the graphical element itself via the Display Options window, there is no visual indicator for this. For example, a project-level property is set to ensure a specific compartment is always shown on states in any diagram that has states (e.g. ShowReactions = Yes); On a given state, that compartment can be explicitly removed via the Display Options window. Behind the scenes, the removal of that compartment is handled by setting the value of that property to ShowReactions=No on the graphical element itself, but there is no way in the U to see that the property has been overridden at the graphical element level, nor is there any indication on the Display Options window that the compartment is supposed to be shown, but has been manually removed.
