This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Currently when we click on a module on Left side explorer, all baselines appear on Right Side explorer. A layman user of DOORS doesnt need to see this list of Baselines because he will be working only on Current baseline. The earlier approach should continue, i.e an experienced user can select the Baseline he or she wants to view. It should not be visible so easily as newbie users may get confused and open an older baseline.

I can imagine that users somehow wonder about this 'feature', so I'll propose to make this feature optional. User who like this can enable it, user who don't like it can disable this visualization :)
For me personally, I do not need this feature and showing this additional information in the Treeview-pane hopefully don't slow-down the visualization but maybe some users of my big pool of users like it. We have created a similar tool a long time ago, which can do this and much more.
Please don't do this.
It takes a little while getting used to but it is very useful to open a Baseline without opening a Module.
It also allows us to run some IBM-supplied dxl to capture info on Baseline signatures.
Besides, it doesn't matter about opening a Baseline rather than the Module because you can't do anything to it. Just a bit tedious if you're not used to it.
How do I vote AGAINST?
