Provide a performance optimization for data exchange between DOORS 9 and OSLC consumers, in the form of pre-existing package containing all variability information (VEL document)

A third party solution provider is requesting that DOORS 9 implements the VEL initiative to optimize and speed up fetching data from DOORS from OSLC consumers.

The general concept is to calculate and provide a package with variability information which can be requested and transmitted in a short sequence of simple requests.

This is in contrast to the current implementation, that requests data from DOORS 9 separately for each project / module / object and related entities: 

2 or few requests vs. hundreds of thousands (depending on data set size).

    Hello,

    Do you have any schedule when this is going to be implemented? 

    "We have no plans to implement this until there is a published standard."  whn will this be a published standard?

    My understanding is that the OASIS Variability Exchange Language (VEL) initiative has been started in 2018 and has not yet published any technical work.
    We have no plans to implement this until there is a published standard.
