Bring back DOORS 9.7 ability to create complex experssions for sorting that also allow sorting on links

DOORS 9.7 allowed the user to create through an interface, complex expressions like filter on the following

Attribute 'Is Requirement?' = TRUE
and
(Requirement_Validation = FALSE or Requirement_Verification = TRUE)
and
Parent Link exists

This is not possible within the normal Web browser using views which is WHERE it needs to be.  Using a report generator to get this info is potentially an alternative but most day to day users do not use report generators and to be frank the learning curve on that tool is steep.  The old DOORS 9.7 apporach was intuitive and worked within the tool being authored in.
