Update an open module with changes to data made by other users since the time the module was opened

Akin to modern web-based tools, users expect to see changes to data in real time. When data is assumed current but it isn't, it can lead to misinterpretations / errors.
In the following scenario:
In a scenario, where two users work on the same module concurrently (shared edit):

1 User A and User B

2 User A locks a section, User B is on another section

3 User A modifies objects within their locked section, and saves the modification. User B make _no_ modifications.

4 User B wants to run an export / report / work with the data in the module, and is made aware of User A's changes via the module history showing the transaction in 3

4.1 User B refreshes their view of the module data (F5 or 'refresh') -- the changes made in 3 do not show

4.2 User B toggles edit mode to read/only expecting the data to refresh -- the changes made in 3 do not show

4.3 User B double-toggles edit mode to read/only and back to shared or exclusive edit expecting a data refresh -- the changes made in 3 DO SHOW

it is suggested, to introduce a mechanism - automated and/or manual, that allows the data to be updated with the latest changes in either 4.1 or 4.2 or both.
