Add a feature that tracks (and/or controls) DXL scripts database wide during runtime and beyond.

Currently DXL scripts offer powerful customisation options, but since they're entirely run client-side, it is hard to manage them centrally and database wide, especially when they impact performance or stability, or when maintenance tasks require client sessions to cease from interfering with data. How this can be implemented is open to imagination and design restraints.
Some IBM products implemented an 'agent' model, where scripts had to be registered centrally before execution, opening the doors for more advanced features such as server-side only scripts and scheduled tasks. Record-keeping / history of script runs could further improve audit-ability of DOORS.

    Hi,

maybe you can use DXL Security or the DXL Services feature? We played a little-bit with DXL-Services and even we found the limitation for processing one DXL-script at a time only but this is maybe a helpful feature for smaller DOORS environments?

Also pointing the DOORS application startup-parameter -[layout|project]addins to a shared-drive may help?

For example: I implemented the last option but also to provide the complete DOORS-client for end-users (which helps to deploy application-configurations ... but this is another story)
