According to the way we manage the specifications and design documents in DNG and the numerous specifications per project area, the number of components can be important (up to 50) per project area. Then it isbe difficult to find quickly a component through the default panel displaying all the components or the configuration list menu.
We need a feature that could allow us to organize components per folders or groups in order to be able to sort them. It can be "view" mecanism with tags (as per the reports list in report builder) or just only a folder/container mechanism that we could also display as a tree.
Such feature would increase navigability efficiency and improve user interface experience.

It's possible to tag GC components, the same thing would be needed in Doors Next and ETM.
More generally, each and every interface used to view/list/selection of components should proposed same tag filters.
